Case studies

The case studies contained in this volume synthesize Indigenous input into the different themes discussed at the Eighth Ordinary Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity. They were written by Indigenous persons, drawing from their personal experiences as well as the direct experiences of their home communities. It is hoped that this publication will spark a discussion amongst Indigenous Peoples, nation-states, and other entities on the complexity of Indigenous cosmovision and its application in the use and conservation of the world's biodiversity.

The case study chapters (below) are available as .pdfs. Click on the desired language option to open the file. Note that options in italics are still under construction .
