Polices - International Alliance

The International Alliance of Indigenous and Tribal Peoples of the Tropical Forests has a range of policies guiding the work of the Alliance. These policies are collaboratively drafted and mutually agreed on during the International Conferences of the IAITPTF. The box to the right contains links to the five key policies passed during the 4th Conference of the International Alliance held in Nairobi, Kenya, in November 2002.

HOW TO JOIN

We welcome applications from organizations that work directly with indigenous peoples and supports the rights of indigenous people. We offer both Ordinary Memberships (for indigenous or tribal peoples groups) and Affiliate / Honorary Memberships (for non-indigenous groups who meet our guidelines).
